Samaritan House Thrift Store, Emergency Food and Clothing Bank seeks to meet not only the material needs of those who come to our store by offering emergency food and clothing assists to clients but also the spiritual needs. With this in mind, we meet daily for prayer and devotionals. The sisters are also available for informal prayer with those who come into the store. See our Events page to learn more!


Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

9:30 AM -3:30 PM

Closed: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays

  • Please come during store hours (at least a 1/2 hour before closing) and meet with a sister who will complete a computerized in-take.

  • Bring a photo ID with you.

  • Bring documentation of who resides in the Household with you. (You can get this from Job and Family Services). 

  • Clothing assists are offered four times a year. Includes:

    • Three outfits per person in the household.

    • Undergarments (3)

    • Pairs of socks (3)

    • Shoes (2x a year per person)

    • Coat (2x a year per person)

  • Food assists are offered four times a year. Includes:

    • ​Meat

    • Canned vegetables

    • Cereal/oatmeal

    • Beans

    • Chili

    • Tuna

    • Spagetti & Sauce/Ravioli

    • Macaroni & Cheese

    • Peanut Butter

    • Soup

Because we are an Emergency Food Bank we provide food assists four times a year only. We rely on donations for our food pantry so occasionally we have other items available like toiletries, diapers, baby food and other miscellaneous items. Please let us know your needs when we meet with you.
